  • Stroke

  • Spinal cord injury

  • Aphasia

  • Dementia

  • Traumatic brain injury

  • Parkinson’s disease

  • Alzheimer’s disease

  • Huntington’s disease

  • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)

  • Multiple sclerosis

  • Spinal or brain tumours

  • Muscular dystrophy

  • Progressive nerve palsies

  • Guillain-Barre syndrome

Our treatment programs are specifically designed for each client, taking into consideration their individual priorities and circumstance.

Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapists use a variety of approaches to increase our clients’ strength, mobility, balance, and endurance. These range from physical exercises, to massage, joint manipulation, stretching, and nerve mobilization. By teaching the body new ways of moving, we’re able to help clients regain their strength.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy aims to improve the motor skills and/or cognitive skills needed to perform tasks associated with daily living, like eating, drinking, cooking, bathing, or cleaning. Our goal is to help our clients acquire the skills and tools needed to live and work the way they want to.

Speech & Language Therapy

Our speech and language therapists work with clients who have difficulty formulating, expressing, or understanding language. Whether the muscles needed for speech are weak, paralyzed or lacking coordination, we help clients transform their ability to communicate and improve their quality of life.

Our services include LSVT Loud: Speech Therapy for Parkinson’s Disease and Similar Conditions.

“An effective speech treatment for people with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological conditions.

This intensive therapy program trains people to use their voice at a normal volume.

It has extensive research support showing its effectiveness.”
