Ashley was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, and moved to Central Alberta for her post-secondary studies. She began her undergraduate degree in Adapted Kinesiology/Bachelor of Physical Education at Red Deer College, where her passion for adapted sport and accessibility first took root. She completed her degree at the University of Alberta, later earning a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy with a focus on Neurology, Pediatrics, and Hand Therapy.
In 2012, Ashley and her late husband, Jon, settled in Lacombe. She began her career in Return to Work and PTSD Prolonged Exposure Therapy with first responders, then joined AHS at Red Deer Hospital, where she spent six years in Outpatient Neurology and eventually became Senior Occupational Therapist for both Neurology and Orthopedic Therapy. During this time, Ashley and Jon also became owners of the Dolman Professional Building in downtown Lacombe.
As their family grew, Ashley transitioned into private practice, focusing on pediatric OT—a role that kept her close to home, especially after Jon received a life-altering diagnosis. While she loved working in her community, she missed neuro-based rehabilitation and team leadership. Conversations with Jason (“Jigger”) from The Team Jigger Foundation revealed a local gap in accessible, evidence-based, all-in-one rehab services. Inspired by these discussions and the Foundation’s mission to help everyBODY live and function without barriers, Ashley decided—before Jon’s passing—to launch her own clinic.
Through Legacy Rehab, Ashley strives to give back the love, support, and encouragement her family has received. Rooted in the same community where Jon built his legacy, she now works to build her own: “Together we make a difference. Together we create a legacy.”
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys life with her amazing new husband, her two daughters, and incredible friends. She loves creating, spending time at the lake, boating, and travelling.

For five years, Jessie has worked at Red Deer Hospital, gaining experience in outpatient neurological rehabilitation and on the Early Supported Stroke Discharge team. She also helped establish the hospital’s outpatient driving assessment program in collaboration with therapists from across Alberta.
Jessie is passionate about providing lifelong, quality rehabilitation services. She values individuality, creativity, and adventure, and aims to inspire excellence in those around her while living a life grounded in discovery and integrity.
Outside of work, Jessie enjoys camping in the mountains with her family, coaching and playing volleyball, and riding her horses. Life is full with her two young daughters and twin boys, who keep her on her toes.

We’ll begin with an assessment. These typically last one hour and are always conducted by one of our professionally certified therapists. We’ll take our time to understand what brought you here, where you want to go next, and how we can help you get there.
