Beginner Bike Camp

Bike Camp was a fun four days! Participants aged 4-7 with varied experience and comfort levels with biking were enrolled.

The components of biking were broken down, with early days focusing on pedal awareness, push-off, seated balance, and stopping. Over the days skills were combined and advanced to include obstacle courses that worked on steering/turning, ramps, and combining the skills from previous days.

This camp also included different gross motor activities and fun games to work on balance, leg strength and coordination. The kids enjoyed videos on bike safety/ learning to ride a bike during their snack breaks.

By the end of the four days the kids were more confident with biking, and 3 of the participants were able to bike with their training wheels removed!
