Sound Camp

Sound camp was a success! It consisted of four days over two weeks where children could come for all four days or could pick and choose days depending on what sounds they were having difficulty with. Each day focused on a different sound that children often struggle with. The sounds that were chosen were ‘th’, ‘s’, ‘l’ and ‘r’. Each day children were shown how to make the target sound as well as received practice through various movement activities and crafts. A snack with the target sound was provided. Parents were given feedback on how their child was doing as well as a handout with different ways to practice each day. Everyone had a SPEECHtastic time!
